One hour of adult-led activity learning new skills and working in teams can change a child's week
It is important that children participate in extra-curricular activities whilst growing up as they learn to express themselves and the activities help to develop their personalities. It goes without saying that extra-curricular activities are essential to a child's future and can really shape which path they choose, also making them stand out from the crowd in higher education applications. Providing this service for children at your school looks great to OFSTED, as well as potential parents who are looking at sending their child to your school as it shows that you are interested in children's development during both in and out of school time.
A setting we provide extracurricular activities to can become OFSTED registered (if it meets certain conditions), and at that point parents are able to pay using childcare vouchers and the school will also be able to offer the childcare provision for over 2 hours.
